Product Manager, Europe

As Product Manager Europe, you will become part of our In-Market Product Management organization and report directly to the Manager for In-Market Product Management. Working closely with Sales, Global Product Management, Marketing Communications and Application Specialists, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of our existing product portfolio across the European markets.
You will act as the commercial link between local markets and the Global Product Management organization, ensuring that customer insights, market intelligence and commercial opportunities are translated into concrete initiatives that strengthen our market position. At the same time, you will play an important role in supporting New Product Development by bringing the voice of the customer into future product decisions and successful market launches.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for continuously developing the commercial performance of our product portfolio by identifying new opportunities for organic growth, strengthening our market position and supporting the European sales organization with commercial initiatives and product expertise.
A key part of the role will be to analyze market developments, customer behavior and competitive activities to ensure that Struers remains one step ahead in a highly specialized global market. Based on your analyses, you will develop actionable recommendations and commercial initiatives together with Sales Management and Marketing Communications.
You will become an active member of the global Product Management matrix organization, where knowledge sharing, best practice and close collaboration are essential. Furthermore, you will contribute actively to New Product Development by supporting customer visits, defining customer requirements and ensuring successful product introductions across Europe.
Other key responsibilities include:
Identifying opportunities for organic growth through market and customer analyses.
Developing and implementing local and regional commercial initiatives together with Sales and Marketing.
Supporting successful product launches in collaboration with Global Product Management.
Gathering and communicating customer, market and competitor insights to the global organization.
Conducting sales analyses, win/loss analyses and pricing analyses to support commercial decision-making.
Supporting Sales with product positioning, value propositions and tender specifications.
Driving best practice sharing across the European Product Management organization.
Your success will, among other things, be measured by your ability to create profitable growth, strengthen market share and ensure successful execution of commercial initiatives across Europe. Equally important will be your ability to build a strong understanding of customer needs and translate these into concrete commercial actions that create value for both customers and Struers.
Your Experience and Skills
We expect you to hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree within Business, Engineering or a similar discipline. You have some years of successful experience from Product Management, Market Management or another commercially focused role within an international B2B company.
You have a strong commercial mindset combined with excellent analytical skills and are motivated by transforming data, customer insights and market knowledge into business opportunities. You have experience working closely with Sales organizations and understand how commercial initiatives are successfully implemented across multiple markets.
Experience from technically advanced industries such as industrial equipment, manufacturing technology, MedTech, Life Science, automation or similar industries will be considered an advantage. Likewise, experience from matrix organizations and collaboration across multiple countries will enable you to succeed quickly in this role.
As a person, you are commercially driven, structured and naturally curious. You enjoy working across cultures and functions and have the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the organization. You communicate complex analyses in a simple and convincing manner and are equally comfortable discussing commercial opportunities with Sales as you are presenting recommendations to senior management.
Fluency in English is required, while additional European language skills, particularly French, will be considered an advantage. Strong capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint are expected.
