Senior HR Business Partner

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will report directly to the Global HR Director and become part of an international HR organisation supporting employees and leaders across multiple countries. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the Danish organisation while also contributing to the Nordic region and selected international locations including Australia and Singapore.
This is a broad HR Business Partner position where some of your time will be dedicated to operational HR activities, while the remaining part of the role focuses on leadership sparring, talent development, HR projects and continuous optimisation of HR processes. You will work closely with managers across Engineering, Production, Finance, IT, Commercial and R&D and become a trusted advisor to leaders at all organisational levels.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering professional HR support throughout the entire employee lifecycle while helping strengthen the strategic role of HR across the business.
You will advise managers on employment law, employee relations and organisational development while ensuring that HR processes are executed efficiently and consistently. At the same time, you will play an important role in the continued digitalisation of HR by helping implement and optimise our global HR platform, Cornerstone. It is also a key part of the position to help HR to drive compliant and continue deployment of the HR-wheel with global and more digital processes
The role combines day-to-day operational responsibilities with strategic initiatives designed to strengthen leadership, employee engagement and organisational effectiveness across the business.
Other key responsibilities include:
Managing the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and exit interviews.
Advising managers on employment law, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, absence management and collective agreements.
Driving recruitment processes from interviews through employment contracts.
Planning and executing the annual HR cycle, including performance management, compensation reviews and talent management.
Supporting leadership development, succession planning and organisational development initiatives.
Driving the continued implementation and optimisation of the Cornerstone HR platform, with particular focus on the Recruitment module.
Optimising HR processes and ensuring high-quality HR master data and GDPR compliance.
Acting as a trusted business partner for managers across the organisation.
Your success will, among other things, be measured by your ability to strengthen the strategic HR agenda, support managers in becoming stronger leaders, improve collaboration across the organisation and continuously identify opportunities to optimise the way HR supports the business.
Your Experience and Skills
We expect you to hold a relevant university degree and bring extensive experience from a Senior HR Business Partner or similar position within an international organisation.
You have successfully managed the complete HR annual cycle and possess a broad HR toolbox covering both operational and strategic HR disciplines. You have significant experience advising managers on employment law and employee relations and are comfortable supporting hourly paid employees working under collective bargaining agreements within a manufacturing environment. You have a solid understanding of working with Collective Agreements ideally the Danish Industry Collective Agreement (Industriens Overenskomst).
You are experienced in recruitment, talent management, leadership development and HR process optimisation, and you have worked with modern HR systems such as SAP, Cornerstone or similar platforms. Experience from international matrix organisations will be considered an advantage.
As a person, you are mature, business-oriented and pragmatic. You quickly establish trust with managers and colleagues and naturally become the person others turn to for advice. You combine strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills and understand how to balance operational priorities with long-term organisational development.
You enjoy working independently, take ownership of your responsibilities and are motivated by continuously improving both processes and people.
Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken, are prerequisites for success in the role.
