VP Commercial Nordics, Accell Group
VP Commercial Nordics for leading international bike company
Drive commercial transformation and profitable growth across the Nordic region
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the commercial development of one of the Nordic region's most significant businesses within the cycling industry. As VP Commercial Nordics, you will be responsible for translating strategic ambitions into commercial results across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead a diverse commercial organization with full responsibility for sales performance, profitability, customer relationships and commercial execution across both Bikes and Parts & Accessories. You will play a key role in strengthening collaboration across the Nordic markets, developing high-performing teams and ensuring that strategy is consistently transformed into measurable business results.
The role offers significant influence, broad executive exposure and the opportunity to shape the future commercial direction of the Nordic business within an international, matrix-based organization undergoing continued development.
Lead the commercial development across one of Accell's most important regions
The Nordic bicycle market is among Europe's most advanced markets for bicycles, e-bikes and Parts & Accessories. At the same time, the industry is undergoing significant change. Retail structures are evolving, customer expectations continue to increase, omni-channel capabilities are becoming increasingly important.
As Vice President Commercial Nordics, you will lead the commercial organization across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland with full P&L responsibility for the commercial performance of both Bikes and Parts & Accessories. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will translate Accell's global commercial strategy into successful regional execution while driving sustainable growth, profitability and organizational development. While Quality & Service defines the strategic framework for technical service, you will have operational responsibility for ensuring an outstanding customer experience across the region.
Your key responsibilities include:
Lead the commercial performance across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland with full responsibility for revenue, gross margin, inventory, working capital and EBIT.
Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key retailers, dealers, distributors and commercial partners throughout the Nordic region.
Lead, coach and develop the Nordic commercial organization while building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and customer value.
Drive commercial transformation by strengthening commercial processes, performance management, forecasting, account management and organizational effectiveness.
Identify commercial synergies across countries, brands and channels to improve scalability and execution.
Collaborate closely with global functions and international stakeholders in a complex matrix organization while representing the Nordic region in strategic business initiatives.
The role can basically be located anywhere in the Nordics. Heavy travel should be expected.
Experienced commercial executive with a strong track record in multi-country leadership
You are an experienced commercial leader with a proven ability to create sustainable business growth while leading organizations through change. You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic execution mindset and are equally comfortable discussing commercial strategy with executive management as engaging with key customers and supporting your teams.
Most likely, you have built your career within sporting goods, branded consumer products, mobility, outdoor, consumer durables or another international business where success depends on strong retail, dealer or distributor relationships. Experience from the bicycle industry is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
Furthermore, we are looking for you with the following qualifications:
10-15+ years of senior commercial leadership experience with full commercial responsibility.
Proven success leading commercial organizations across multiple countries within an international matrix environment.
Strong commercial and financial understanding with experience managing revenue, profitability, gross margin, working capital and EBIT.
Extensive experience developing strategic customer relationships and leading key account organizations.
Demonstrated success driving commercial transformation, organizational development and change management.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, coach and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent stakeholder management skills combined with a collaborative and influential leadership style.
Fluent English and proficiency in at least one Nordic language. Experience from bicycle, sporting goods, outdoor or mobility industries is considered an advantage.
